Telling your story with intention is how our female-led team creates a film tailored to your personality and taste. I believe every film is a family heirloom—a moving time capsule for future generations to cherish.

PLEASURE TO MEET YOU

When they say it goes by fast, they mean it.

When we say “for better or for worse,” we meant it.

When they say to soak it all in, they mean it.

When we said “for richer or for poorer,” we meant it.

When they say listen to each other, they mean it.

When we said “to love and to cherish,” we meant it.

When they say love is patient & kind, they mean it.

When we said “until death do us part,” we meant it.

Tomorrow, January 26, 2017, marks four years since Bart Pettus and I stood in front of nearly 300 family & friends and promised to love each other forever. Four years.. Talking to my Nana Pickle the other day she said, “Four years is just the beginning, you’ve got a ways to go before you catch up with me & Papaw.” 😉 #MarriageGoals

But as I sit here in the early morning hours, listening to our eight month old baby girl as she rocks to sleep in her swing, I can’t help but to think what a blessing it is to be able to celebrate four years with this man. I knew when we met on that blind date in Troy, AL that he was different than any other boy I’d dated before. It may have been the 03’ Ol’ Whitey Ford with camo seat covers that set him apart from others, or it could have been the quiet confidence he showed as he talked about his love for all things turkey hunting. (If only I had known just HOW MUCH he loved those turkeys..haha)

Whatever it was…God knew what he was doing when he put this man in my life. He knew that my creative heart needed a sturdy, grounded, head-on-his-shoulders man to keep me calm & hold my hand when life gets too crazy.

I’m so glad that this man was able to see past the pageant crowns and sorority letters, looking instead at my quirky sense of humor and love of sour patch kids as positives, & fell in love with me.

Boy, like Nana said, we have a long way to go..but I’m so excited to get to spend that journey with you. Happy Anniversary, Mr. Pettus! I love you, and I love being your wife. <3

Ecclesiastes 4:9: “Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor:
If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone?”
