If you know me, or if you’ve worked with me, this may come as a surprise..but it’s the gosh-honest truth. I enjoy being with my small group of friends, quiet hangouts & intimate gatherings. Large crowds can be exhausting, because I tend to want to make personal connections with everyone I meet, and even though that’s impossible in a large crowd, I still try so hard! Here’s the thing though, I’m also a person who isn’t afraid to get out of her comfort zone.
And even though it’s taken me all week to catch my breath and rest up, boy, am I glad I took that leap of faith!
Y’all, I met some of the sweetest, most excited brides. We chatted about their wedding days, decor, how he proposed, & of course, Wedding Videography! (I was also able to connect with another Momma over loving our post-baby bodies, and how we are still beautiful, just a different kind of beautiful…I can’t remember your name, Momma, but if you remember me, I’m sending thoughts and hugs over to you today!!)
Speaking of Mommas, my Momma was the real MVP of the day. She drove down from Shelby County to help me set up my booth, decorate it, & she can do PR like a southern Kelly Cutrone…(well, she’s a bit sweeter..) She also made sure I ate and had water, when possible.. (have I mentioned it was crazy??).
Nearly 90 brides signed up for my Free Engagement Video giveaway, and the winner was Lekisha Brewer!
Not only that, several new brides have joined the MPV Bride Club, so all in all I think it was a successful day! I can’t wait to be a part of their weddings! I want to thank everyone who stopped by to say hi, and encourage other business owners to give it a try. (Did not mean to rhyme there…haha) My advice- Step outside of your cozy zone, you never know what might happen!
