Eufaula Wedding Videographer
First United Methodist Church of Eufaula Wedding
It’s no secret that my southern heart loves to film a Eufaula wedding. There is a reason why part of the movie “Sweet Home Alabama” was filmed there–its small town southern charm just draws you in. Then, when you add a joyfully-in-love couple like Mary Elizabeth and Trey to the pretty Eufaula backdrop, it is just sweet, southern HEAVEN.
THE WEDDING DAY
December 15, 2018
Mary Elizabeth and her girls got ready in the pastor’s house next to the First United Methodist Church. It is filled with natural light and made for a stunning location for her to step into her lace wedding gown. We were all smiling giddy smiles as she had her first look with her sweet Daddy. When he said “You look like a little bride!” we lost it. So stinking sweet!
First Look with Dad, Then Trey
When it was time for Trey to see “Merb” -as their friends call her- he took a big breath. I could picture what could possibly be running through his mind–falling in love with his best friend in high school, and now getting to marry her and spend the rest of his life with her. They both immediately broke out in the biggest smiles as Trey turned around.
Meet the Couple
Childhood Best Friends and Soulmates
These two’s love story started at Eufaula High School- as their family and friends described in hilarious detail at their rehearsal… what started as a high school fling between a football player and cheerleader would soon turn into something special. They dated all throughout high school and then went through a period of long distance-with her cheering at Troy and him playing baseball at Lawson State. Eventually, Trey was recruited to play ball at Troy, and they got to enjoy living in the same city for two years.
Distance wasn’t finished with these two yet though, as Trey continued his education while Mary Elizabeth pursued her Master’s in Occupational Therapy at Alabama State University.
Trey proposed at The Grand Hotel in Mobile where he planned a family celebration after. Mary Elizabeth is a triplet, and her sisters hid in the bushes to watch the proposal. Mary Elizabeth said she was “blown away with how well thought out and planned the moment was. I am still in awe that everyone was able to pull this off without me catching on! It was everything I could have imagined and more.”
To the Couple:
Mary Elizabeth & Trey,
I have honestly had a smile on my face all this time editing your sweet day. You two have a love & joy that is contagious to everyone around you, including us! I am so thankful for the opportunity to serve you two during this joyful time. 💕
