I’ve had the opportunity to visit the Mobile Bay Area several times, and I’ve stayed in Fairhope twice. Both times I fell just a little bit deeper in love with the city. This work/vacation (aka- workcation) definitely brought my love for the area up several notches. From the resurrection ferns peeking out in between brick structures to the quaint-yet-trendy cafes every mile or so, it was the perfect place to spend a few days with my family relaxing before heading back to our busy school & work schedule.
This wasn’t just a trip for relaxing though…in fact, the main reason we decided to go was so I could visit with a new friend & client, Abigail. Abigail owns Abigail Wellinghurst Photography & is SO GOOD at what she does! She creates a luxury bridal photography experience for her clients with a best friend next door attitude. I mean, literally after just meeting we were already chatting like we had known each other for a long time! We are hoping to team up soon to create a promotional film for her upcoming workshop (which is in Fairhope!!) the AWP Workshop. This workshop is for those adventurous souls who are in the first few years of their journey into the world of professional photography. We can’t wait to show y’all all that is in store with the workshop! For more info & to snag an early bird registration go here!
All in all, the trip was exactly what the doctor ordered. A time to relax, recharge, reconnect, & re-focus on everything that is coming in the next few months. I am so thankful we got to do it!
