Heather and Will’s Iron City Birmingham wedding was THE definition of a classic city wedding. It was also an example of when the party starts in the AM & keeps going throughout the day–Rain or Shine!!

Heather and Will’s day had plenty of sweet, emotional moments but the definite theme was HECK YES WE ARE GETTING MARRIED.🙌🏻

And let me tell you–we are A-OK with that, and the appearance of sweet Fitz the Pup! (See how many times you can catch Fitz in their film..hint- there were some cute details featuring the ginger-haired pup!)

Iron City Wedding

M. Elizabeth Events did a fabulous job of helping Heather bring her classic black and white Birmingham wedding to life. We loved getting to capture all the floral prettiness & grand drapery from Vera Flora & On Site Productions. We’ve been to Iron City before for fun, but this was our first time filming a wedding there..and boy were we impressed! We loved the custom marquee out front and the pit area made for a gorgeous reception. The Main Attraction Band had the party going until late that night & led us out to Heather & Will’s exit via a Nola-style second line.

Wedding Day Details

Heather & Will got ready at the gorgeous John Hand Hotel, a classic building constructed in 1912 among the skyscrapers of downtown Birmingham. It gave us serious House of Cards vibes as Will got ready peering out among the other buildings and city traffic. After popping the champagne and enjoying time with their bridal party, these two had their first look at the John Hand Club, a private club at the top of the building.

After exchanging vows on stage at Iron City, these two danced the night away with their family & friends. Don’t believe me? Just watch! (get it?)
