I get to spend many weekends with blushing belles in wedding gowns, but yesterday’s beautiful little lady was by far one of my favorites.
Sweet Ivey Ross Parker was born on December 5, 2017 at a precious six pounds, one ounce to the sweetest Momma & Daddy, Hillary & Wes Parker.
You see, her Momma & I met at the nuttiest house on sorority hill, Alpha Gamma Delta, and it just warms my heart seeing how all of us are coming full circle.
Collegiates, Friends, Girlfriends, Wives, & now Mommas. It is amazing!
When Hillary told me she wanted to take a few of Ivey Ross’ newborn photos (and video coming soon!) on her wedding gown I immediately felt my Momma heartstrings pull. What a beautiful symbol of forever love and promise. Miss Ivey Ross, you have a great role model to look up to (and a fantastic wedding gown to wear if you so choose later on down the road!)
As you arrive at the Parker’s charming farmhouse (I’m talking, would make Chip & JoJo jealous..) you are greeted by the sweetest pink bows announcing Ivey Ross’ arrival. Inside her nursery is a scene any pottery barn enthusiast would enjoy, with warm creams and whimsical pink ruffles. Like any good southern belle, Ivey Ross already has a chest of drawers full of smocking and a well-loved rocking chair for spending lazy days inside.
Snuggled up by her Daddy, who we can already tell has his heart wrapped up in that little girl, Ivey Ross was a dream to photograph & film.
Congrats Hillary & Wes, you have a BEAUTIFUL baby girl!
