We had the best time celebrating Jessi and Trevor during their wedding at Magnolia Bay in Dothan! Magnolia Bay is nestled among the pines in Dothan and makes for the most beautiful venue to celebrate a marriage. Its wooden structure and rustic exterior contrast wonderfully with the stunning chandeliers hanging from its ceilings. Jessi and Trevor’s classic, romantic wedding fit in perfectly at Magnolia Bay.

The night before the wedding, Jessi’s Dad told a story. It was about how when he met her Mom, he knew immediately that he had to marry her. He proposed on their first date.

Now, Jessi and Trevor’s love story is a little different, but just as sweet.

It was still love at first sight, (sort of) as Trevor saw a photo of gorgeous Jessi and just had to meet her. He talked a mutual friend into introducing them, and asked her out on a date to her favorite sushi restaurant- Mikatas. (Girl after my heart! )

Being the independent gal she is, she wasn’t looking for a relationship at the time. She wasn’t sure if she should go-but her Mom told her that you never know what could happen.

Flash forward to a summer day, as Jessi posed with family for a photoshoot arranged by Trevor, he dropped to one knee.

The Wedding Day

She of course said YES! and that brought us to the weekend of September 22. Along with family and friends, we got to see how their relationship has grown into something spectacular.

Let me tell you, when Trevor looks at Jessi, it’s like there isn’t anyone or anything else left in the world.

Seeing their intimate and emotional first look brought us to tears, and then hearing the story of Jessi’s parents’ marriage and their wishes for Jessi and Trevor made us bawl even more.

Y’all have such a large place in my heart, and I have loved getting to know you two during your engagement and wedding day!! You received some amazing advice about marriage at your rehearsal dinner, to always out-serve each other. Watching y’all on your wedding day, and the newlywed days since then, I can tell you are already serving each other well. It’s beautiful to watch! You two are so BLESSED, and I am so thankful for you!
