From the first time that this pageant loving, go outside only to workout or enjoy Troy football princess, met this good ol’ country girl (who wore a camo cocktail dress to semi-formal) I knew that we were an odd couple made to be best friends forever. From her generous love and affection (so many hugs, so many rescued animals) to her sweet then sassy attitude, Amanda has always been the most fun to be around. 

So when I got the opportunity to choose her as my Little Sister in Alpha Gam, I took it, no hesitation. 

Here we are six years later, and we still can talk (and laugh) about anything and everything. She’s always been there for me, a sturdy but comforable confidante, and I’ve always tried to be the same for her. It goes without saying that as soon as she asked me to be her Matron of Honor I gladly accepted.

I’ll add here that I am 100% team Will as well. I knew from the way Amanda talked about that Lambda Chi boy that he was different, and treated her the way I felt she deserved to be treated. He makes her laugh and has the sweetest way of keeping her calm if that sassy side tries to come out. Plus, y’all..he’s a police officer. Who just won officer of the year. If that doesn’t tell you what kind of person he is (giving, public servant, strong willed, protector and provider for his family) I don’t know what does.
