Kayla and Robbie’s Stonebridge Farms wedding day was just as sweet as could be. They originally planned their wedding for the spring of 2020, but due to the pandemic, had to postpone. To this precious couple, a few extra months of waiting wasn’t a problem at all.

So how did their love story begin? Well, technically-through their friends. Kayla told us that “Both of our friends convinced us to get this social networking app. After messaging each other for a little while, we decided to go on our first date in Auburn. After we ate dinner, we sat and talked for hours in front of Samford Hall on, what we now call, “our bench.” Most everyone knows the exact story of how we met, but sometimes we like to just say we met through friends because it makes it easier. We are so thankful for our friends that got us to even get on this app in the first place, because I would not have met Robbie if we had not followed through with that.”

“Ever since our first date, when we talked on our bench for countless hours, it felt already known you for a lifetime. In that moment, time stood still and I knew you were gonna be someone special to me.” – Robbie, in his letter to Kayla on their wedding day.

This couple, y’all. This couple is an example of the kind of love you find when you meet your best friend and dedicate your days to out-serving one another.

Kayla and Robbie had the sweetest Stonebridge Farms wedding, and Robbie reacted to seeing his bride for the first time the way every bride wishes her groom would react! Such a precious moment, as was all of their day. We loved being there to capture their story!
