When two Alabama Ballet company members get married, a celebration of art and the artists that create it are placed front and center.
Caitlin & Daniel’s romantic Birmingham Art Museum wedding was equal parts fun, lively, and touching. Experiencing the couple’s wedding day design from the incredibly talented Julie Bunkley, with Invision Events, was like walking into a fine art oil painting- lush florals, and immersive environments, all tailored to perfection for C +D’s guests.
In the edit, we wanted to showcase their grace and beauty, relationship, FUN personalities, and the incredible vibes of their friends surrounding them.
Art Inspires Life
Surrounded by fine art and culture, you can’t help but lean into the romantic vibe. This Birmingham art museum wedding was quite literally a living art piece!
Soft posing, gentle direction, and letting the relationship be the focal point were our goals as we filmed this wedding.
Designed by Invision Events and planned by Slate and Lane, this colorful summer soiree featured bright pops of pinks and greens, with Pearl and Sky design’s floral masterpieces adorning the museum’s grand staircase, and each table in the reception hall.
Super8 Film Add-On
We chose to incorporate Super8 film in their cinematic edit because of its soft focus, dreamy tones, and nostalgic viewing experience. It was the perfect medium to compliment C + D’s graceful and colorful wedding day. Since we are currently obsessed with Super8 and so inspired by how it helps us serve our clients, we were so glad to hear they loved this portion of their film!
